A leisurely stroll along the panoramic streets of Capri or a ride in the hotel's chauffeur driven car: whichever way you choose to get there, in just a few minutes you'll be in the Piazzetta or on the island's most beautiful beaches.
Hotel Excelsior Park is situated halfway between Marina Grande and the Piazzetta.
In just 10 minutes you'll be at the Port and in 15-20 minutes, in the center of Capri. The hotel's shuttle service is available from 9.00 to 21.00 hours and is free for hotel guests. Within meters of the hotel, there is a supermarket and a bus stop.

A long story
Two thousand years ago, on the site of today's Excelsior Parco, there was a Roman villa, as is testified by the ancient column which now stands at the entrance of the hotel. The other columns are displayed in Naples' Archeological museum.
In 1906 the present day villa was built: constructed according to the principals of the Liberty style, which were in vogue at the time, with the addition of a few details typical of Capri's architectural tradition.
Almost immediately, the villa became the haven of artists and intellectuals seeking refuge on the island of Capri from the totalitarian regimes which started to dominate European politics. In 2006 a complete restoration and renovation of the edifice transformed the villa into a 4 star hotel whilst, at the same, time, conserving the appeal of the period building.
