Get married in Capri
Every type of civil and religious wedding can be celebrated on the island of Capri, with the exclusion of catholic weddings between non Italian citizens (as stated in a decree issued by the bishop of Capri). Capri has a number of catholic churches and a pretty evangelist church for protestant services. Civil marriage services are performed in Capri's town hall, in a room facing the Piazzetta, or in Anacapri's town hall, surrounded by Mediterranean gardens.

Excelsior Parco first opened in 1906 as a villa in which artists and intellectuals habitually met to discuss art, philosophy and culture. These were the years in which Capri was the elected refuge of those escaping from the totalitarian regimes beginning to gain power in Europe.
Today, Excelsior Parco continues this tradition, hosting art exhibitions, debates, small conferences and seminars. One important annual event is the "Conversations at sunset": a series of debates on social themes organized by the "Centro Caprense Ignazio Cerio".
